We’re in the beginning stages of the coolest playroom ever!! I seriously have the best clients!! How did I get so lucky to be working on an amazing scandinavian meets boho with modern farmhouse simplicity-rock climbing wall-hanging chair pod-bonus room?
Eeeeeeek!!!!
This client contacted me a few weeks ago wondering if I would be interested in helping her transform her playroom/family room into a Ninja Warrior Inspired space for her 3 boys to literally climb the walls. I was in from the word “ninja”.
But wait…there’s more…she explained that this ninja warrior-esque room had to have a simple, neutral feel (think scandi/industrial style). Oh I am SO IN!!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been refining the design of the room, ordering some pieces & beginning the installation.
The wood construction of the rock wall should be finished by the end of the week. We’re currently awaiting the shipment of climbing holds to arrive. When I stopped by today to see how construction was going, and measure out a space for some decor, I saw these beauties had arrived…
Ok, so let’s talk about the play mat. It’s just as pretty in person as it was online. I can just picture the littlest boys playing with their matchbox cars on it. ADORABLE!!
And then there’s this wire basket. That I now have to have. IDK where I’m gonna put it. But. I just have to have one myself. It’s amazing.
I couldn’t have started this blog at a better time. Now I get to take you through the journey of this project step by step!!
